About me.Dream big
Work hard Stay humble |
Established in 1988
I was just five years old when I sat in the saddle for the very first time, and began to dream where my love for horses could take me.
Watching my childhood hero Blyth Tait and his courageous mount Ready Teddy ride their way to gold in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics cemented my own dream of one day riding on the world stage.
Just six years later I qualified for the Under 14 World Finals in Brazil. Riding a borrowed horse, I took out one of the major classes and finished 16th overall. This dream was now a very clear reality.
Since then, I have teamed with, competed against, and been mentored by some of the greatest show jumpers around the globe.
A 7x New Zealand representative for Showjumping, career highlights including winning the 2016 Hyundai Derby, jumping my very first World Cup in 2017 and taking out the 2019 $100,000 Visa MX Classic in Mexico.
I have spent the past 12 years growing my own business and producing my team of horses right through from green broke to World Cup. I return to Europe annually bringing the most up-to-date resources to the table.
Knowing firsthand how difficult it can be to crack onto the world stage when you are starting out, I co founded the Global Amateur Tour back in 2018, creating international showjumping opportunities for children, juniors and amateurs all over the world. I have some incredible trips lined up for 2023 so jump on over to my TOURS PAGE for more info!
