Ruby Cameron NZ11 year old Ruby hails from St Bathans in central Otago and attends Poolburn School. Her showjumping highlight so far was coming runner up last season in her very first 1.10m on her former pony Jamie who she produced from scratch. Her current team consists of 7yo Ace, 5yo Elderberry and 4yo Luna. Short term goal is to compete Ace confidently this season up to 1m -1.10m. Long term goal is to produce Elderberry to Grand Prix.
Ruby has already faced some big challenges at her young age, having major knee surgery last year, yet she NEVER complains, ALWAYS tries her hardest and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. I couldn’t think of a more deserving recipient and look forward to having her on my team this season! |
Dolly Lehne CANADAA member of the Cross Border Pony Club, Alberta based Dolly was introduced to the sport through her mother’s love of dressage but tells me she chose the more exciting path of showjumping instead!
Just 15 years old, Dolly has travelled through most of Western Canada working her way through the divisions and finding top placings for her hard work in the hunter jumper circuits. Her current mount Opal is 16 and has been in the family for 3 years. With some superb placings this year in the 1m classes, Dolly’s short term goal is to step Opal up to 1.10ms over the coming months. Long term, she aspires to become a coach and do equine massage therapy alongside human and equine nutrition. Funny fact, Dolly tells me her real name is Ainsley but her grandma forgot her name when she was born and called her Dolly…and it’s been that way ever since! |
Holly Mackenzie NZOriginally from Queenstown, Holly (15) now resides up in the North Island at Nga Tawa Diocesan school.
Her current career highlight was finishing 16th overall in the Junior Championships at the 2022 CSI - W Indoor in Brazil. Holly short term goal is to successfully step her current mount Mellivora BP (Badger) up to the Junior Rider classes this season. Long term, she would love to represent NZ professionally on the world circuit. |
